Now I'd like to talk about our decision to go there. My 5 -year- old son is quite a healthy child, but he has some problems which are connected with his respiratory system. So we were looking for the appropriate locality - Crimea - because of its climate and geographical position, considered to be the most appropriate in this case. So it was the specific reason for our trip.
My husband can't take a leave from his work for a long time and so our journey was planned for me and my son only, not as a whole family vacation.
There is no need for a description of our hotel. All that I can say is that this place was quite good for temporary living and the price which we paid was worth the quality.
My husband was allowed to join us for only a few days. He is a very active person, so he wanted to have a more activity - saturated program at this short period. Because of him our first excursion was chosen - Ai-Petri , which is a peak in the Crimean Mountains.
It is easy to get anywhere in Crimea by mini bus. And so we decided to go there without any tour guide.
We arrived to Mishor, there is the rope-way is located, early in the day. Taxi-driver offered us the raising by the car. Our route was passing through a marvellous mountain forest.
With this peak at an elevation of 1234 meters, I can now say that I wasn't ready for this. It took more than an hour to reach the mountain top by car, and it was difficult for my son. The changing atmospheric pressure and the spiraling road were more than enough for him. Finally the climbing was done! As a reward an exciting and amazing view appeared before us .It was pleasant to see all around from the top. The great surprise , especially for my son, was the appearance of snow in summer and for me the uncommonly low temperature and too windy. Unfortunately we hadn't known earlier that this was one of the windiest places and were badly prepared for this.
Just look at these photos.
Hauling down by the rope-way was effective, but to tell you the truth, too short and fast.
Iam happy to let you know that the travellogue to the Crimea by Olga was really nice and useful. She shares emotive feels about her travel in simple way.The silence of Monastry and the rock-cut architectures are really wonderful in its construction and symmetry.Olga could transmit the focal point of silence and tranquility pervades within the historical monument. well done Olga.
